This statement is provided to you by 東海國際 in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Ordinance”).

Before you provide any personal information to 東海國際, please read the following points carefully:

  1. You must provide 東海國際 with the personal data described in the Privacy Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as “personal data”) from time to time so that 東海國際 can provide services to you.
  2. If you fail to provide your personal information to 東海國際, 東海國際 may not be able to open, provide or continue to provide services to you.
  3. During your normal business dealings with 東海國際, 東海國際 will also collect personal information from customers.
  4. It is not absolutely safe and reliable for you to provide data to 東海國際 through electronic means (such as email or Internet). 東海國際 shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by you if you transmit data to 東海國際 electronically, or if 東海國際 transmits data electronically to you at your request. Therefore, you should take extra care when transmitting personal data electronically.
  5. Unless otherwise stated, 東海國際 will not collect any data that can identify visitors to websites or mobile applications. However, 東海國際 will record the browsing data of visitors to websites or mobile applications, but the records only show the part of the domain name server address in your email address and the web pages you have visited. 東海國際 compiles general statistics on website usage from data such as the total number of visits to the website or mobile application and the category of visitors according to the address of the domain name server.
  6. According to the terms of the Privacy Policy, any personal data may be used for the following purposes: (a) the daily operation of providing services to you;

(b) conducting credit checks;

(d) promote investment, trading or related services or products;

(e) assist other relevant groups, professionals, institutions or regulatory agencies to verify certain facts related to the services provided by 東海國際 to you;

(g) Create your data files as needed for daily operations;

(h) and other uses related to or incidental to any of the items above.

  1. 東海國際 will keep your personal data confidential, but 東海國際 may provide your personal data to the following persons for the purposes stated in paragraph 4: (a) Any agent or third-party service provider related to 東海國際’s business operations;

(b) Any relevant person who has a duty of confidentiality to 東海國際 and has undertaken to keep such information confidential;

(d) credit reference agencies and debt collection agencies (when you owe money);

(e) Any regulator or exchange that regulates any business of 東海國際 and any company associated with 東海國際.

  1. 東海國際 may use and disclose the collected personal data in accordance with 東海國際’s data privacy policy from time to time as permitted by law.
  2. You understand that if you do not want MGT STOCK to use your data or provide your data to other parties for direct marketing purposes, you can notify MGT STOCK to exercise your right to refuse promotions according to the address in paragraph 12 below.
  3. According to the terms of the Privacy Policy, you have the right to: (a) Check whether MGT STOCK holds its data and has the right to access the relevant data;

(b) require MGT STOCK to correct any incorrect information related to it;

(d) As far as your credit is concerned, ask to be informed of the data items that will be routinely disclosed to credit reference agencies or debt collection agencies, and to obtain further information to submit data access and correction requests to the relevant credit reference agencies or debt collection agencies.

If MGT STOCK decides to change this statement, the changes will be posted on the MGT STOCK website to inform you so that you can understand the changes, updates or revisions. Any such changes, updates or revisions will be effective immediately upon posting.
